Well, the surgery is out of the way! Whew! You still have a long road ahead of you, but all you can do is take one day at a time. Those young one's can heal well and bounce back whereas an older doggie might have problems, especially, adjusting to the situation. I know she couldn't be in better hands, though, and I'm certain there is a quietness around your home tonight that isn't usual.
