How cute!
Kaji started sleeping in his expen. Then the bed came out of the expen and I put it right next to my bed so I could reach down and pet him. Eventually, he won and we sleep together. I love cuddling with him at night! I will say that I have just been incredibly lucky with him when it comes to pottying. He's not perfect, especially when he's under the weather, but he holds it all night. When we use to have the luxury to have him outside potty trained, he would walk up to my face and nibble my bangs. That was his way of telling me he needed to go potty. Now that he's pad trained, he walks himself to the pad if he needs to go at night. He does wear a bell so I can hear him rustle around, but to be frank, he doesn't need it anymore.
I do think it takes time when you change something to their schedule/routine. Just make sure to clean up any accidents really well.
