I had one bad experience and one funny one flying with Kasha to NY from Fla. It's just shy of 3 hours. I made sure to prep her with her bag ... she LOVES the medium Sherpa(the small was TINY even for my 4.5lb baby) and gave her the vet approved dose of kids benadryl before we left for the airport & before going on the plane. She got REALLY excited while waiting to board but settled down after take off. I put my foot in her bag & we both went to sleep. About 20 mins later I woke to hear the flight attendants grinning and asking me "is this yours?" holding my squirming baby. Oops. She had run all the way (8 rows) to the front of the plane. I guess her escapes are not limited to leaping over gates. She threw up on the ride home and yelped the whole way.  I really love the "take a rest command" might have to try that before our next flight this weekend. someone suggested in another thread to bring a picture with you in case your furbaby decides to be a furbrat. I did that and it helped when she was yelping so people cooed over her pics rather than rolling their eyes.

That sounds so funny! I might do it for other purposes, like if he runs and hides. Highly unlikely but you never know.
