 Pee pads maybe not
Dinky was trained on pee pads and now will pee or poo on anything on the floor. So we have switched to outside. Things were going well...now he just wants to play outside. He did not come from a pet store , but from a breeder who had not given him enough experiences. At first he was freaked out by outside. Now, he loves it, but he thinks it's play time.He never wants to come back in now!? He is doing the thing now where we spend 20 minutes outside then he comes in and pees or poos in the crate. So I am going to spend 30 minutes now in the same area until he gets it. I honestly think he figured out that when he goes in the crate that I scoop him up and take him outside.
The forum is really helping. I am going to take the advice to take him out for 30 minutes, back in for 5 minutes in the crate and then out again. |
