You all are soooo informative... I did not have THE FIRST clue about what kind of camera I wanted (only that I wanted to take a big step up from my point & shoot)...and was leaning toward Nikon...don't even know why ? Anyway, now my goal by Christmas is to have a Nikon D90, a prime lens, a bounce flash, and a good zoom lens.............in that order
