Yes, some yorkies ears will not stand no matter what you do, since it is genetic and some will with help and others just always stay up. It really depends on the weight of the ears and the skin leather. To help the ears you can tape them once the ears have been shaved.

You do not have the pup yet, right, since she is only 6 weeks old and should still be with the breeder till she is 12 weeks of age. The breeder should know about the ears and to keep them shaved and taped - at about 7 weeks of age.

Here is a photo of one of my pups at 5 weeks of age and then the 2nd photo of one at about 8 weeks. You can see how the hair is off the ears in the first one and then only hair at the bottom of the ears in the 2nd photo. I hope they help. There are some sites out there that show how to tape the ears.
