Their main spice is Berbere. When I was visiting Seattle (hello Seattle people) we went to a spice market. Has been the only place I have been able to find the spice.

and I brought this book on Amazon- A Taste of Eritrea by Oliva Warren. Pretty good recipes and a good fix when I can't get into the city for my fix.
