yeah lol. i was looking at my info on diphenhydramine and its dosed at 2.2mg/kg so i guess i had that on my brain while typing. medically we usually deal with mg and kg, not lbs. we give doses for some meds in pounds because its easier for owners to understand. so in my head i'm doing the calculations my way and then trying to type it here the other way.
1-2mg/lb is the dosing range. and i think the vet was using the upper range of the dose to get 3-4ml. 3.4ml is the dose for a 4.3lb dog done at 2mg/lb i believe
