I like this pasta maker, it does a good job but I don't utilize it like I should. I still buy pasta and don't think about making it fresh - it is A LOT of trouble to go through and no one here seems to be so enamored with "fresh" pasta enough to make me go through the trouble of making it, and cleaning up the mess.
Anyway, the pasta maker sits in my pantry, along with the bread maker, the rocket grill, waffle maker, and the Cuisinart food processor.
I did make a fabulous linguine w/clams when I was using it more often. |
I ended up borrowing my friends pasta maker. After reading the manual and looking at all the gadgets I decided to just make mine by hand. I think if I did buy one it would be like yours and spend more time collecting dust.
Funny you should mention the bread maker. I gave mine to my ex when we divorced. I loved the bread maker at first, and then it was longer between making loafs, and after a while I didn't use it at all. I guess I should count myself lucky none of the stores around here had a pasta maker in stock when I was gung ho for one.
