I got a pasta maker (electric) several years ago for a Christmas gift...lol...I always get the latest, greatest kitchen gadget....think my family is trying to get me to cook more often
I like this pasta maker, it does a good job but I don't utilize it like I should. I still buy pasta and don't think about making it fresh - it is A LOT of trouble to go through and no one here seems to be so enamored with "fresh" pasta enough to make me go through the trouble of making it, and cleaning up the mess.
Anyway, the pasta maker sits in my pantry, along with the bread maker, the rocket grill, waffle maker, and the Cuisinart food processor.
I did make a fabulous linguine w/clams when I was using it more often.
