I have at least 7 vets within 5 minutes from my home and my vet is actually a young guy not a "ole timer" and yeah I am set in my ways and don't plan on changing my plans for I have been doing this for many years. I'm not trying to "go" anywhere. I'm not good on the keyboard. I wanted to a address a c section in the event that another person read it. We don't have to be the same.
I feel it's helpful to know what to expect. My vet charges so little to do both, just as many vets. IMO they do this so that people will. Even poorly planned breeding could have safer outcomes if people would care more about the well-being of their bitch. Someone said it in another post last night or this morning. I haven't heard it in a long time. (due bear with me I get emotional about these little monkeys) When they said irresponsible breeding is abusive. It is true. Knowing a bitch began dropping pups before the human knew she was pregnant, this one needed a sec or trying to do dew claws themselves.
Of course there are folks here that have free whelped singletons and pairs. This doesn't mean it's safe.
Some breeders won't xray or ultrasound, so if they don't know what they have when they're dealing with it. It's not only about the size. They don't get enough hormones and strong enough contractions. Lets start another thread about this so it's about your bitch. Don't you think this is the best thing?
