It's not just the plane ride though. The flight itself, may be two hours, but they're on the plane much longer than that. They get loaded first, then they sit there on the plane until all the stuff and people are loaded, and then they take off. When they finally get there, they wait to get unloaded, get processed, and then wait some more for the new owner to come pick them up from baggage claim. I don't know about you, but to me that seems like an awful lot of waiting.
