It's not us that are flying with the puppy it's the guy that he was sold too even though my mom told her friend who is the breeder that we wanted him. I'm pretty sure he's flying in the cabin with the owner but if he's not in an airline approved kennel then he'll have to go cargo, at least I think thats how air canada works. The flight is long because there are no direct flights from Alberta to Newfoundland (I've flown that route a few times in my life). Who knows how long the guy will be sitting in an airport waiting for a plane and what not. I'm just scared for this little guy and would rather have him with us in our family where he will still be able to visit his mom and dad.
