If they are flying in cabin with you (or someone else) I dont see a problem with flying a dog. If you are talking flying in cargo hold, I really don't like that. I did have a dog flown to me this way once and would never do it again, I think it was a really bad idea. However, if you are having a dog flown to you or with you under the seat, I would still wait a little longer. 8 weeks is young, at depending on the length of the flight, could just be too much to handle at that age.
