How stressful it would be on an 8 week old puppy to fly across the country with it?

The puppy that my mom was going to get has been sold, even though my mom was interested in him first. Anyways the guy that bought him is taking Blaze (he was prenamed) and flying across the country back to Newfoundland, and I'm just wondering how stressful that would be on a puppy thats only 2 months old. The breeder is a friend of my moms and she said if my mom really wanted him, then she would tell the guy no. I keep telling her to do that but she won't. Anyways any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Pippin was really looking forward to getting a baby brother.
