I agree Mary. I never administer any meds unnecessary. I have a wonderful vet in Dallas who also believes in this. Heartworm meds are necessary when living in mosquitoe country, which I'm happy I don't live in now. But, very necessary. Anyone that lives in those areas are taking short-cuts and putting their dogs in harms way. Have never seen a dog die from them, or had to go through the treatment. Yep! arsnic....your breeding dogs will never be able to breed again.
