My thoughts EXACTLY! Also, whether it's you or anyone else that takes him, shouldn't he have paperwork that signs him over to the new owner? Otherwise, this BYB who sounds less than loving toward her pups, could re-claim him and use him as a sperm donor whenver she wants to. I feel so bad for this baby, because I read somewhere a while ago that excessive humping is a sign of anxiety.
