I have a small pond and Libby fell in it when she was about 4 months old. Thankfully, I grabbed her out quickly and she was okay. I've now got a 3rd yorkie and she is smaller than my other two. After a friend's yorkie drowned in the toilet, I put a fence around my pond. It is just a wire fence and it is hardly noticeable from a distance. I just feel safer having it there. |
