The vet did the calculations and was the one who told me 3 mL. I would never give her anything that wasn't prescribed by a vet first. I just like to verify the information I receive, just in case.

You never know. I got yelled at before by another vet because I gave my puppy a small amount of a pain med for her leg. He was not her regular vet but the night vet that does her certificates of travel. He said that I better not have given her Naproxen because it's toxic to dogs and that many people give it to their dogs, etc. etc. I told him that I would never give my baby anything without first checking with her regular vet. Sheesh!!! It was like her was preaching to the converted (I don't know if I used that saying right).
