An opportunity but hubby says NO! So the BYB I know is looking for a home for her male Yorkie. Rico is a 1 year old, sweet, little (1 1/2 lbs) boy who has a humping problem. He humps all day long. Anything and everything. He also isn't potty trained. The BYB has put stipulations on who she wants Rico to go to because she wants him close so she can visit him. She also says that he can't go to a home who will neuter him. AND she wants someone who is familiar with the breed. We've been offered the opportunity to have him but hubby says NO. I'm purely thinking with my heart on this one. Rico spends 9/10ths of his day in a crate. He gets little social interaction and is basically a sperm donor. That's it! At least in our home he would get the necessary interaction he needs to make him a great dog. Right now he's afraid of his own shadow. I just don't know what to do. I want this little guy to know what a loving home is all about but I also worry that too many negative things have been instilled in him that he may not overcome. Thoughts? Suggestions?
