I also have heard of this, and it's not just for dogs. My mother-n-law's cats all would get their vaccinating shots. Well one of the cats had an unusually reaction. Now the cat has to take interferon, which is given to cancer and aids patients, everyday or she will die. What happens is the vaccinations actually break down the animal’s immune system. She is also taking something else that the people at Texas A&M have put her on. After Cordelia's done with her puppy shots, I will only be taken her to get her booster shots every 3 years. Especially, since she will not be an outside animal.
