so i went to pick up the murphy's oil soap and i read the ingredients. it seems it's MOSTLY vegetable oil, but there were 2 things that bothered me: 1) it contained "fragrance", which is another way of saying "toxic" and 2) there were 2% synthetic ingredients and they wouldn't tell you what they were.

needless to say, i passed. i'm gonna try a teeny bit of the coconut oil and see if that works. if not that, i'll try some other kinds of lighter oils.
