I would take her in as it will get better as it popped and leaked out infection but this needs to be seen by a vet and you probably need to have a dental done and they need to see what is going on. How do the teeth look and when was the last dental? I would not mess with this as dogs do not show signs of pain like we do
and yes jodi is correct it is the Root so you will not see it sometimes in the gums as it comes out in a sore under the eye
If there is one infected root their can be others - if this was after a dental and tooth removal then I would go to a bc dentist
This is why when dentals are done digital xrays are critical as they can see if roots are infected so this does not happen
