How old is she? Being sleepy all day in a puppy is not normal. Maybe sleepy after hard play, but just sleep altogether, not.
I don't know about eating the grass. Obviously if you catch her don't let her do that. Did you just get her? Have you had a vet check her out? That is the first thing I do when I get one.
I have 3 and all 3 sleep with me. I used to let them sleep in the bed under the covers with me, but they ended up disrupting my sleep so badly, I now put their crates on my bed where they can see me and they sleep in them.
8 pounds is not tiny, but it really depends what kind of sleepers you are. Would it be likely one of you could roll over on her? And make sure she is used to the bed and won't fall out and get hurt.
