Precious is losing her puppy coat. A couple of weeks ago she started matting really badly. I tried conditioning her, brushing her, combing her and all with little success. Many of the knots just fell out and I felt like I pulled out half of her hair while brushing. Problem is, I've only gotten out a portion of the knotted mess
. I'm considering cutting her fluff off but the more I mess with her hair, the more convinced I am that she's going to have a silky coat and not Cotten. I only come to this conclusion based on how silver her roots are and how thin her hair is. I wonder if it's thin bcs of how much I've brushed out. So I guess my question is would it be ok to give her a short buzz cut? If she's gonna have a silky coat I'm more hesitant bcs of how thin she may be at the base....
