I also gave her some basics that she needed to keep on the alert for. There are so many things that we do automatically. But, when one is whelping their first litter, it's hard to give them all the necessary information needed.
She is contacting her husband to pick up some basic supplies on the way home from work. I told her that when things settle down we'll talk so, that I can give her a list of basic supplies she'll need to have on hand.
