Mary, with dogs if they deliver so long after their water breaks is there a chance the pups will need special care afterwards? i only ask cause my friend (human) had her water break at 1am and didn't have her baby until 7:30pm that same day. Her baby had to go into NICU because she was having trouble breathing. They said it was because she was in the womb for so long after the water broke. |
There is a possibility of some problems but, not always. I'm about to give her a call.
