I notice no one wants to comment on this, but I can't help myself. Believe me, I understand all about policemen putting their lives on the line every single day and I appreciate and support that 100%.
But, this was not a life threatening situation. The dog was under control and it was SCARED. There is absolutely NO reason for them to shot and kill that poor dog; certainly not that I could see. Did you notice how he was wagging his tail?
OMG, this is hearbreaking to me. I believe there are good and bad in every profession. There are people where power goes to their head. I think this was one of those situations. However, I know there are some states where it is perfectly ok and allowable to kill a dog with a gun. I just don't think this was a question of putting this animal out of his misery. He looked healthy to me. I don't know anything about the laws in Missouri but it was darn hard to watch that.
