all I can say is wow!!!!! that susan is the best. she thinks that yes his worms started everything, and maybe that he always eats stupid stuff is because he can't handle kibble and chicken. she really doesn't like kibble and chicken for dogs. She thinks that the panacur poisoned him, B/C the 2nd day on it he was refusing it and started to collapse, and by the 3rd day everything intestine wise was so inflamed due to the panacur that he was filling up. I looked at the panacur and it is dosed for a 10lb. dog, and he is 6 ish, and weakened. She's worried about in 2 weeks I have to give it again, can the vet cut the dose in 1/3. She thinks if he was knocking on JC's pearly gates, he wouldn't have responded to the prednisone so well. He has no fluid building, chest and nose completely clear, he's able to lay, he looks and acts like a 8 month old pup. BUT.... when I do give him the flagyl, and prednisone, right after it like now he looks glassy eyed, my dogs and I don't do well with any kinds of drugs, except a vitamin. I am a little worried he hasn't had a bm. since 5am sat. am. Also when this really passes how in the world am I gonna be able to collect the others poop, I don't know who's is who's. But that is minor right now. I have to run to the store for whitefish, string beans, and potatoes, she called it a bland anti-inflammatory diet for now. Plus she shipping me a bunch of stuff to reduce inflammation and build his strength back. So if all goes well, I will be taking him to that malvern on weds. for follow up, his cortisol lab and something else will be in by then. Also to try and return the case of ZD cans. For now my guard is up very much, I'm waiting for the floor to give in again, but on the other hand it is so nice to see his little face happy again, his full of lifeness I can't explain how I feel. Do you think that the vets would give me a copy of his actual labs? I want them for reference. I will be following up with susan for new diets changes in about 2 weeks. Thanks again for everything. I'll keep in touch, let me know what you think...Tracey
