what was wrong with her was she having symptoms?

Usually white blood cell count is high on blood work where there is infection

There is a reason in human medicine they do not rush to antibiotics anymore and they make people wait to get them so they do not become immune yet in vet medicine it seems to be the first thing they do before running proper testing
