I have been prescribed Baytril for one of my bunnies that had an upper respiratory infection. He is a teeny little dwarf bunny and did really well with this antibiotic. It is the ONLY antibiotic a bunny can take.

I feel your vet is the best person to ask these questions. Would not have prescribed it if it were not needed.

I agree, give your little pup the meds as prescribed so that what ever he has starts to get better. The longer you wait, the longer it will take to get into their system to get rid of infection.

In regards to pooping blood, that definitely needs to be checked and also agree, get him back to the vet right away. Not good to wait. Little animals, their health can decline quickly without proper medical care.

Praying for your little one. Please keep us updated.
