I'm just coming from the standpoint of it being an 18(ish)-year-old with no insurance who can leave the house whenever. I actually would be extremely nervous to leave Ellie with somebody so young. I'd sooner she was crated at her vet's office and didn't have any fun b/c at least I'd know there were qualified techs and assistants watching her.

I used to watch pups for family and friends. In some cases it was worth $30+ and in others it was worth less than $15. Depends on the dog and what they require.

I agree. I recently let a few customers go because it was just too much for me. I do dog walks during the day and I had a few with NO training, owners won't listen. They charge people and other dogs, pull so hard that I am sore when I get home. I decided its not worth it, as much as I love the dogs the owners need to buck up and spend some time with their dogs. My job shouldnt be that hard.

I have atleast 6 visits a day and a couple days a week I have 10-12. This weekend with Fathers Day, I have several out of town. I am always stuck close to home & my family has to work around my schedule. But, I love what I do and wouldnt trade it for anything.
