you can try benedryl first but I have been hearing on my allergy group zyrtec is working better for dogs. Benedryl amps up some dogs like mine she cannot take benedryl. Some dogs it sedates some it amps.
oh and temarilp should not make her groggy so did vet give you another med as well?
