Oh my, I thought my husband & I were the only ones who had that thought about a 4lb dog. Farrah does the same things you are describing. Unfortunately, other than tethering, I do not know of a "cure". Was hoping to find one here. She is 7 months old now and it is slowing a bit but I definitely cannot put her down ANYWHERE without her peeing just a quarter size puddle.
Out of 10 dogs in obedience training class she was the only one who left puddles each week. Up to 3 in one hour!
