He has a collapsing trachea, in his chest area, he started out using an inhaler, but he doesn't need it, he gets 1/4 pill of theophylline, chlor pheniramine for allergies, and CV formula an herbal remedy for cardio vascular strength. The allergy pill I think is the best, and I judge with the weather and his breathing to give it or not. So it's really not everyday. We mostly changed his way of life a little, on walks he gets carried to one corner then walks to a corner, we don't let him over due anything. Also we keep an air filter fan in the bedroom on at all times for him. Cool everything for him is the best. Last winter we all were under an electric blanket so we could crack the window for him, and he was perfect. The crazy things people don't do for their dogs!!! |
