If you have to point fingers and blame anyone, it should be the friend in this case- it was HER female in heat and she allowed them to be unsupervised together out in the yard.

People on this forum are so quick to jump down someone's throat! I have loved this forum for a long time, but lately it seems someone can't even ask a simple question without getting jumped on or a thread being hyjacked by someone on a soapbox. I, too, love dogs and wish they all had a perfect life without human error, but stuff happens and sometimes we all just need a little advice to help us out.
