I just got the Little Rascal a few weeks ago. Cricket uses it sometimes. But she still prefers the pad, I think. (I know you dont want the cost, but I put the piddle pad under the grass. Then I can still toss it and not have to wash out the bin. But I do have to rinse the grass once a week.) Now Bailey on the other hand....

I just brought Bailey home from the airport last night. He uses the Rascal just like he should. I didn't have to show him it or anything. Just went right to it!

So I think it depends on your dog and their personality.
