Our groomer cut his hair around his eyes very uneven last week. We went back to even them out and now it is SO SHORT!!! In the past when we have tried to grow the hair out it completely covers his eyes and the hair pokes him in his eyes. It got to the point where I couldn't see his eyes. I stayed strong hoping to get over the hump so that his hair would eventually grow down and long enough to brush into place. The groomer convinced me that it was irritating him and I gave in and cut it again. Do you think that if we try it again it will actually grow in to be like if it was never cut at all? Can you estimate how long it will take? I don't want him to suffer while it grows in. I'm torn bc I'd really like to have it look like it was never cut.
