not sure but I really think she needs to be dealing with a specialty hospital at this point as sounds like alot going on and a team of specialists may be able to get to the bottom of this faster from testing she has done already. May need neurology and internal medicine working together on this.
high red blood cell count can be related to HGE but usually the dog will have diarrhea that looks like raspberry jam did he have this as i do not remember you ever mentioning this
hang in there sometimes it takes a few heads working together and ruling out things to get to the heart of things - you are doing awesome
the staring is neurological sign and why I think between internal medicine and neurologist they will be able to get this under control so ask her what she thinks. Sometimes you have to get to specialists when they start to spin out of control like this.
