Well since Education on meds seems to be TaBu on here I decided to introduce my Pharmacist who is also my friend to YT and show him a few of these threads that get out of control every time someone tries to educate someone about the meds your vet gives out like candy. And what he said is that "first this dwerten person knows more about meds then most Doctors and Vets who are licensed to prescribe them" and second " These people who say it's only handfuls that are affected negatively are WaY off by a few hundreds of thousands " and his last comment was " Why would anyone argue about education on the hazards of these meds". I say Educate yourself on these meds and NoT by asking your vet but talk to a Pharmacist because not even Your Family Doctor has all the info on the meds they prescribe for you and your family, so if you think your vet knows all the hazards of the meds they give your pets you're sadly mistaken. And for all of you who work in the field, maybe you should take a look at those Ref books your vets go to for prescribing those meds you have so much faith in and you will see just how much info they Don't give because I have and it's pretty Damn scary. And for those of you who don't think you should research and question your vet, well that's just ignorance or laziness or maybe both. |
