Hi! My girl has dry skin too.

What kind of food are you feeding him? Have you showed your vet? You should show your vet so that he/she is aware of it.

It could be just dry skin, or it could be allergies.

Several things to consider are:

adding oil to their daily intake - organic coconut oil is suppose to be good

good food - chicken and/or grain can cause problems so it's trial & error

good shampoo - oatmeal is good - once a week bathing should be ok

brushing! I've been using a good brush and brushing my girl daily and it seems like it's clearing up her problem. She doesn't really scratch alot but she did have what looked like cradle cap. So keeping her scalp clean & clear seems to be helping.

I am going to try the coconut oil though. I did have them on some oil from the vet's office but it didn't help.
