The bark repeller looks like a remote control and makes a sound they don't like. We point it at them, say "quiet" and they listen. Now I can just put my hands to my lips and say a firm 'quiet' and it usually works. It would be a mad house over there (well MORE of a mad house) without the bark repeller. 1 dog is so much more easily controlled than 3. With just Jackson, he rarely barks unless someone walks in the door, that's it. And when he does bark, it's easy to quiet him down really fast, and not a problem. I don't discourage playful barking, and will even get down on the ground with him and bark and growl with him (weirdo... maybe! LOL :P) He knows what barking is obnoxious and not appreciated or allowed compared to playful and fun barking. |
I've read the reviews of this product on Amazon and it seems amazing! It's not damaging in any way? I don't want Cooper to NEVER bark. There was a time once when there was a stranger outside my property and he went nuts so I still want him to bark just in case.
