Here in Arizona, you can call 911 if you see an animal in a hot car...and you can be sure I'll do it. The other thing I've done (if it's borderline hot) - is I'll ask the store if they'll make an announcement, so that I don't have to call emergency....and they have, twice.
I was almost going to break a window once too, and then the owner came out and we argued in the parking lot - and he couldn't have cared less about the heat in that car
. Makes me so upset.
