I love vintage style stuff, so I mostly shop in thrift shops, IF I shop at all. I can't stand the mall. Overpriced stuff and everyone knows where you got it. I have a whole folder of designs I want to make, but I'm too busy making stuff for other people that I can never do MY stuff! LOL
anyway, here's two costumes I make. From the Sweeney Todd movie, Sweeney and Mrs Lovett. Oh I love corsets too, I make those as well. I love anything late Victorian. |
Overpriced, fabrics are disgusting, and nothing is well made. Even non-mass produced clothing at boutiques does little for me.
Master craftspeople never have time for themselves.
I have a folder of pictures -- not my own designs like you -- of things that should I ever have the means, I will have someone tailor make for me.
