I do sew, i mostly do costumes, and i am usually too busy to sew for myself, but i do sew more for humans than for furbutts. I went to design school. My dad at first was totally against it, but recently he told me he was glad that my fashion design degree went towards something. (That's his idea of a complement LOL)
I love vintage style stuff, so I mostly shop in thrift shops, IF I shop at all. I can't stand the mall. Overpriced stuff and everyone knows where you got it. I have a whole folder of designs I want to make, but I'm too busy making stuff for other people that I can never do MY stuff! LOL
anyway, here's two costumes I make. From the Sweeney Todd movie, Sweeney and Mrs Lovett. Oh I love corsets too, I make those as well. I love anything late Victorian. |
I hate shopping for myself. I honestly dread it. I love going shopping for my brothers and picking stuff out that they like and makes them look good. But for me, I don't like ANY of the new fashions. It's either, too long, too short, too ugly, it fits me funny, and I have a million more reasons. So, I end up just wearing whatever my mom buys for me. In my closet, there are only about 4 pieces of clothing I can say I really like.
I do love all my shoes! Love my Chuck Taylors.
