That is because the Parathyroid regulates the calcium in the body. IMHO this all seems to be treatable and you are on your way to helping Tucker get well.
Did she order a new lab to check if his calcium is increasing with the Rx? If you need help understanding what I just posted let me know and I can break it down for you to a more understandable level the best that I can.
