I agree please don't panic. What I was talking about in regard to dementia was HYPERparathyroid and you have the opposite going on with HYPOparathyroid. It sounds like you have a wonderful vet looking out for the best interest of your little guy.
Please make sure that you listen to your vet and follow through with whatever test need to be given. Did they take a PTH level and Calcium draw? Your thread is becoming confusing and hard to follow along.
