hard to say gastrointestinal stuff can be tricky. No antifungal drugs are used for fungal infections not antibiotics and flagyl is an antibiotic. I believe manolos mom did metronidazole, etc. I hope she comes over to assist further as well as she went through alot but again blood work was perfect though and her dog had a fungal infection.
You could ask vet though - what about histoplasmosis, lymphangiecstasia, ple, epi, compost? She will tell you know it is not this because ....... etc but if you brought up something she had not thought about it may trigger a hmmm had not thought about that let me look into it. This breed tends to have more ple, epi, ibd type issues than hypoparathyroid. I am sure she will be able to tell you why she ruled these out as well.
My vet through out lymphangiecstasia to me and so that is when i went home and read on it and said what??? my dd has perfect blood work and it ended up being clostridium on fecal. So they do the same thing as it is a process of elimination sometimes to figure out what is going on and sometimes a few heads are better than one
