We did it! The insurance agent came over and it was somewhat successful. I put Cooper's harness on about 15 minutes before he arrived so that I wouldn't have to fiddle with it later on. That totally backfired because he immediately became overexcited, thinking i'm taking him for a walk. So I took him out for 2 minutes and came back in and he was happy.

I hooked the leash to a chair and told Cooper to stay as I opened the front door. He sat and actually stayed & did not appear excited at all! However, we had a little setback when the man decided to sit at the table where Cooper was tied Didn't he see the attack dog? Well, that's pretty much what happened; the jumping began. I moved Cooper to another location, only 5 feet away. He laid down and was perfect the whole time! I gave him a treat & was so pleased with his behavior. He cried a little bit, but that's ok.

The insurance agent probably thought I was crazy taking a photo of my dog. And I bet Cooper thought I was hiring a new trainer.
