I've posted a video similar to this one before. Unfortunately this year we planted a small cucumber garden in the pool area (which was supposed to be done growing by now so we could get a new pool).
Oh, and yes I'm always with him either in or right next to the pool
We put steps for him to use, but he ignores them and jumps in anyway.
